What is included in a carpet installation quote

What drives carpet installation cost
- Carpet grade. Budget polyester sits at the low end; mid-range nylon in the middle; wool and designer lines at the top.
- Square footage and room shape. Bigger rooms cost more overall but often less per square foot. Corners, closets, and stairs add labour.
- Underpad. A better pad costs a little more up front and meaningfully extends carpet life.
- Removal and prep. Hauling away old carpet, moving furniture, and any subfloor repair are add-ons we quote clearly.
